Okay--few points to remember:
Wrong veil on helmet--should be my light mosquito netting
Cape not closed enough
Tie not properly tied--nobody to assist
you cant see my groovy high button shoes or the opal glass head ot the cane
Bronze-finish goggles crooked on helmet--wasn't told
Thankfully...you can hardly see my face...but here it is!!

I should look into this steampunk thing... I love the look and it's probably the closest I could come to cosplay without feeling like I look like an ass.

Oh, honey--you should! And everybody looks good in Steampunk. There are so many types of characters you can be--the globetrotting adventuress, the elegant lady, the airship pirate, the Soiled Dove--so many, choices. You can be a mad scientist, a greasy mechanic, or whatever your imagination can dream up. My Steampunk Personna is Lyrica Von Metronome--traveling musicologist and adventurer, choral director for Transylvania Polygnostic University. And I haven't even put any work into the 'fiddly bits' of costuming--haven't had time. But ohhhh Steampunk is so much fun!!

Thanks! you would not believe the work that had to be done to get it to even halfway fit--it was sold to me as a woman's but they lied--it was fit for a man far bigger than I was. But my friends really worked on it and now they don't feel too bad about letting me be seen in it as it was before--"Friends don't let friends go out looking THAT bad" as Roomie said!
