Update: OUCH!!! @#$%^!!! "This too shall pass..."

I just passed the stone. It's the size of a lentil--and it has POINTED EDGES.
Jagged. LOTS of them. I would have hated to step on it in my bare feet, let alone passed it through my bladder.
Whew....glad I was off today!

I'm all right--and more than a little sore. Not as sore as I'd be if I were a GUY, but definitely not smiling. Fortunately I have Percocet and Pyridium, which is kind of like an 'internal bandaid'--a pill that soothes from the inside. That will help a lot. The worst is over. I've passed so many in my life that I fortunately know the drill and what to expect. Right now I'm seriously whacked on pain meds and I'm going to treat myself to a warm soothing bath with some Philosophy bubble bath (gotta choose between Pumpkin Spice Muffin or Creme Brulee scents) and I've got some lovely homemade soup in the fridge for supper before I 'do an Alphonse' and go cuddle up with three kitties on my bed!
